Fair and sustainable fashion
Luckily, more and more brands are deciding to produce their clothes with respect for the people who make them, the animals and the world around us: fair and sustainable fashion!
Unfortunately, in 2019, this is not always the case. Still a lot of clothes are made in sweatshops.
A sweatshop is a factory, mostly in the clothing industry, where employees work at extremely low wages, under the most horrible working conditions.
Many of these sweatshops are located in countries such as India, China, Vietnam and Bangladesh, where workers are forced to work 7 days a week, up to 16 hours a day, and in many cases child labour is also an issue here. There are no breaks, no air conditioning, and workers have to stand up for their entire shift. Many workers also experience severe labour abuse, sexual harassment and discrimination.
At Sneaky Panda we think that things can be done differently!
We are against any form of exploitation of people and animals.
Every brand we carry values fair working conditions, fair treatment of employees, safe workplaces and a fair wage.
