Moonstar Gym Classic - Navy | Vulcanized vegan sneakers

This Gym Classic from Moonstar is an updated sneaker based on the 1960s model.
Handmade by a handful of skilled craftsmen in Kurume, Japan.
Moonstar uses a unique vulcanization process. This signature process involves baking each pair of shoes in the oven, giving their rubber soles a unique, flexible and highly durable finish. The uppers are made in high-quality water-repellent canvas.

About Moonstar

Specializing in sustainably produced shoes since 1873, MoonStar is based in the Japanese city Kurume.

Moonstar’s process is characterized by high-quality craftsmanship, which originally began with a production of two to three single shoes per day. Attention to every detail is still maintained today, the shoes are all handmade, set with sealing tape and baked in an oven at 120°C for exactly 70 minutes to ensure impeccable results.
