Background Rombaut

Belgian designer Mats Rombaut is based in Paris, France. He is the founder and creative director of ROMBAUT, a vegan shoe brand since 2012. After gaining experience in product development at Lanvin and later Damir Doma, he is now a creative consultant for a variety of projects and fashion brands. He draws inspiration from natural processes, biotech, art and music. His collection can be seen in Dazed, i-D, Antidote, Coeval, Indie and Vogue. He worked with Barragan, Hugo Boss and his shoes are worn by Bella Hadid, Hayley Baldwin, Solange Knowles, Tommy Cash & Jacquemus.
